jonathon croft was born august 23rd, 1987 to a lesbian couple and a sperm donor. his mothers were two extremely loving, extremely caring women who only ever really wanted a child, and were absolutely thrilled when they got jonny. well, more or less. they weren't exactly thrilled when the doctor had to induce labor because jonny was two weeks overdue, but soon decided it was all worth it when they got to hold their son for the first time.
it has never really bothered jonny that he's got no father, because he's had such a loving family. both of his mother's families are completely warm to him and the family dynamic. all in all, it's safe to say that jonny was certainly just a little bit spoiled all of his life. not so much with money, or material things, as his family wasn't really into stuff like that, but love, certainly. as lame as it sounds, jonny was always well aware of how lucky he was.
chicago, however, where he grew up, was too confining for jonny. or maybe it was just that, despite how much he loved his family, he was feeling too stifled by them. when he was sixteen, he decided to drop out of high school and move away, with some people he probably didn't know well enough. when he arrived in new york city, he lived with those people until he was eighteen.
lennix is a whole other part of jonny's life, probably the biggest part of his life although he's usually too stubborn to admit it. they met when they were both sixteen, and it really didn't take long for them to fall in love. by the time they were both eighteen, they got married and got an apartment together. sure, they fought often, but for a while it wasn't so bad, up until about six months ago, when they got into their biggest fight so far. lennix left, and jonny stayed home, upset. when his wife finally did come home, she confessed to cheating. at that, jonny didn't say much. he left for chicago for about two weeks, where he stayed with his parents and basically stayed in bed everyday and did nothing else.
eventually, jonny decided it would be best to go home and get things worked out. he was, after all, married and it wasn't exactly in either of their best interests for him to never speak to lennix again. since then, they haven't really worked things out, both of them far too stubborn to do so. they still live together, in a one bedroom apartment, and jonny is more possessive than ever. they still love each other, and they say it from time to time, but mostly when they're fighting.
other than that, jonny works at one of the many tattoo shops in manhatten, as a piercer, since he generally does not have the patience to sit for hours on end and do someone else's tattoo, though he manages fine for his own.
